Finishing a Seven year ministry.

Today I preached my last sermon at KICC. We looked at the fact that sometimes we have to minister and serve in a situation where we do not have the full picture. God may have a plan for our lives but we are not always fully aware of it. However, it is still posable to move forward in faith with a partial picture.

I can not believe that seven years have passed since Jeannie and I arrived in Kathmandu. It has been a challenging and hard ministry but the church, KICC has been a joy to pastor and I have been so blessed in the process. It has been a real privilege to be their pastor and we have learned so much from each other. I wish the fellowship all the best as we both head of in different directions.

Over the next few days i will be finishing of packing up the house contents and tidying up some of the lose ends. The next adventure starts on Thursday when I set off to attempt to run the Everest marathon. The race is on the 4th of December but it takes a couple of weeks to walk up to the start line. it will be a great way to finish of my time in Nepal.
